Buying at landing
We select lots directly from the pirogues at the fish auction, checking freshness crate by crate.
Saint-Louis, Senegal / Exporting since 2020
Our plant sits on the landing quay at Goxu Mbacc, Saint-Louis. No truck, no waiting: the fish goes straight onto the production line — sorting, grading, packing and freezing down to −35 °C.
Our plant sits on the landing quay itself. Between the pirogue and the carton there is no intermediate transport and no break in the cold chain. That is what explains how our product holds up on arrival, after several days on the road.
We select lots directly from the pirogues at the fish auction, checking freshness crate by crate.
By species and by size — P, M ou G — in a stainless-steel sorting room, by a team trained in food hygiene.
Blast freezing down to −35 °C once the fish has been packed. Freezing date and expiry date printed on every carton.
Reefer container, or truck to Guinea, Mali and Burkina Faso, with the complete documentary set for customs clearance.
White and black horse mackerel, mackerel, sardinella, pelon, lagne lagne, mixed frying fish, black mullet, sompate and plat plat are handled all year. Octopus, cuttlefish, ribbonfish, sole and croaker follow the season.
Every carton carries the species, the size grade, the freezing date and the expiry date. Every lot stays tied to its landing day.
If a question comes up on a delivered pallet, we can trace it back to the fishing day. It is the only serious way to work with buyers who resell downstream.
We work with wholesalers, fish traders and importers. The chain is short, deliberately.
Species, size grade, tonnage, port or city of destination. Four details are all we need to start.
Firm price, availability date and shipping terms.
Picking, palletising, joint counting and loading, with the full documentary set.
Seafood is our most visible activity, but international trade is the founding business of the group — with its own teams and its own clients. It is not a side service of the Saint-Louis plant.
