About us
Two businesses, one standard
Founded in 2020 in Dakar, Sky Blu International (SBI) is a Senegalese trading company that built its activity around seafood before extending its know-how to international trade.
Our Saint-Louis plant employs a team made up mostly of women from the town, on sorting, grading and packing. Our trucks and containers leave for Asia, Europe and the whole of Africa.
What matters to us: the cold chain, the size grades we announce, and lead times. In our trade, that is all a client can genuinely verify — so that is all that counts.

Our commitments
Keeping small-scale fishing alive, not emptying it
Senegalese small-scale fishing supports entire neighbourhoods of Saint-Louis. It is also under pressure: a scarcer resource, competition from large operators, erosion of the Langue de Barbarie.
- Local buying, prompt payment. We buy from the Goxu Mbacc pirogues and we pay without keeping anyone waiting.
- Employment for women. Most of our sorting, grading and packing jobs are held by women from the town.
- In-house training. Food hygiene, cold handling, grading: our teams are trained internally.
- Value added on site. The fish is processed in Senegal, not exported raw. The value stays here.
